Bit of a belated one this, as we didn’t put a newsletter out at the end of the last month! Sorry if you’ve been waiting for post, like that scene in Scott Pilgrim. Rey and I (Joshua) are currently besieged with Covid, which is so 2021 of us. Luckily we have Oskar and Lucy holding the fort while we’re all snotty. Anyway, between that and trying to refocus/avoid burn out, things are a little slower on our side.
Still though, we got some good shit happening:
GWERIN EXTENDED
That’s right, princess! GWERING has been extended until the end of October. Sunday 29th, to be precise. That means more time to check out art and poetry by a wonderful group of artists who identify as an LGBTQ+ person of colour. It’s had such a welcoming reception so far - don’t miss out! And come to the closing event on Saturday 28th to hear poetry and music from our exhibiting artists!

Llanelli Unity Event
This event has been organised in my hometown of Llanelli, to celebrate multiculturalism, diversity and community within the town. When times are tough and are groups actively fighting to sow division within our communities, we must come together through art, music, good food and good times.
Support if you can! And donate to their GoFundMe so they can continue to put events on like this that benefits our communities.
And that’s all for now - I’m wearing a beanie indoors and drinking a tea of fresh ginger, lemon and turmeric. Bring on winter, babes x
