What?! Another?! So soon?!
Well it’s still Aries season and we’ve still got a mahoosive bunch of events to tell you about.
Here are the ones we didn’t get to last week.
This Friday!
RUGRAT INC presents: FRIENDS + FAMILY
A mixed media art exhibition with a diverse curation of artists hailing from Cardiff/Bristol/London.
5pm - 10pm, Friday 7th April
Our bare walls will be plastered with some fantastic art from a wide range of different practitioners from home and abroad (if you consider Bristol and London abroad). Annnndd, there’ll be live DJ sets, what more do you want from a Friday night.
See your lovely faces there.
Lucy Smith is back this Saturday with another Writing the Library workshop, 8th April 1-3pm.
Thanks to everyone who came down last weekend. So many beautiful responses to our books. Busy last Saturday? This is your chance to make up for it and get all literary in the library.
Autofiction: Bearing Witness
A reflective writing workshop with the wonderful Durre Shahwar, Wasafiri’s Writer-in-Residence will be taking place on 15th April, 2-4pm.
Autofiction Workshop in Cardiff - Durre Shahwar - Wasafiri Magazine
See the link above for more details.
Bookswap
Sunday 16th, 2-4pm — Our first ever Book Swap (*eee* exciting) is. Bring books, zine, pamphlets and more to trade for something new. Got that pile gathering dust in a murky corner of your room? Now’s your chance to breathe some new life into those poor neglected things.
Of course there’s more…
But this is Y Gair #9.5. See you next week for details about our monthly poetry open mic, TAC’s city center meetup (17th, 1-4pm), and a very interesting ‘Night Life and Live Music’ Panel with Resonant at the end of the month.
